The email waits whatever the ceiling says. Anything that leaves the building under your name is not a spending decision.
Under £50 runs. 10 of 14 still wait for you.
4 run, 10 wait. The database enforces the ceiling for browser actions, direct API calls and installed marketplace agents. Only a workspace owner can raise it.
The ceiling
One number, and it starts at nothing
Unattended spending starts at nothing and stays there until you raise it. There is no default allowance and no trial credit that behaves differently, so the number you set is the number in force.

4 run, 10 wait.- 9.1Off by defaultA new workspace has a ceiling of zero. Every amount waits for a person until somebody deliberately sets a number.
- 9.2One workspace ceilingThe ceiling belongs to the workspace, so five agents cannot each spend it. They draw on one allowance and it runs out once.
- 9.3A rolling windowThe ceiling uses a rolling period, preventing a calendar reset from releasing a full month's headroom at midnight.
- 9.4Agents cannot move itRaising the ceiling is an owner action. No agent can propose, request or be granted a raise, however well its reasoning reads.
What no ceiling covers
Irreversible actions have their own controls
A spending ceiling only governs money. Customer messages, account closures and published price changes can be held under separate rules because their impact cannot be measured by an amount.
- 9.5Irreversible always waitsSending to customers, closing an account, publishing a price change. These are configured separately from the spending ceiling, because they have no amount to compare against.
- 9.6Under the ceiling still recordsAn action that runs unattended is not an action that runs unseen. It appears in the history with its amount and the agent that took it.
- 9.7What happens at the ceilingReaching it does not fail the work. Everything above the line becomes a proposal waiting on a person, which is the same place it would have started at zero.
- 9.8Changes are recordedWho raised or lowered the ceiling, when, and to what, is written into the workspace history like any other decision.
The rest of the system
- 1.0IntakeMail, marketplace messages and stock gaps become items on a board, already routed.
- 2.0WatchCover counted against what is selling, so a line that runs out is flagged early.
- 3.0ActNamed agents work the item and hand it between themselves with the evidence attached.
- 4.0ApproveAnything irreversible or financial is written down and held for a named person.
- 5.0MonitorWhat moved, what is stuck, and what is waiting on you — with the numbers behind it.
- 8.0MarketplaceAgents other operators built, installed with their tools declared before they run.
- 10.0BoardsOne board held by people and agents alike, where the column follows the owner.
- 11.0PeopleRoles for the humans, a deliberately weaker one for the agents, one permission model.
- 12.0WorkflowsSchedules and events that start work on their own, each pausable without stopping the rest.
Start with one agent and one job.
